Irrigate with sunshine, not with diesel.

Solar pumping works without batteries: the panels drive the pump through a variable speed drive, and the flow follows the sun, exactly when your crops need water. The state subsidizes 30% of the kit for farmers using drip irrigation.

  • 30% FDA subsidy: we prepare your DPA / ORMVA file
  • Submersible pumps for wells and boreholes, including deep ones
  • No batteries: the drive matches the flow to available sunshine
  • Can be combined with the drip irrigation subsidy (up to 80 to 100%)

What you should know

  • Cheapest water · Around 0.44 DH per m³ pumped with solar, versus around 1.67 DH per m³ with diesel (sector studies)
  • Subsidy · 30% of the purchase and installation cost of the kit, through the Agricultural Development Fund (FDA), since February 2024
  • Conditions · Be a farm operator, have drip (localized) irrigation and buy through an approved supplier
  • Sizes · From a small 3 HP well to boreholes of 10 HP and more
  • No fuel · No more diesel cans to haul, no engine to service every season

The sun pumps when your crops are thirsty.

That coincidence is what makes solar pumping so profitable: panel output peaks exactly when irrigation is most useful.

Panels + drive + pump

The drive converts the panel output and controls the submersible pump: soft start, dry-run protection and a flow that follows the sunshine.

Sized on your borehole

Depth, target flow in m³ per day and total head determine the power you need. We measure on site rather than estimating on paper.

The subsidy file, done for you

We put together the FDA file with the DPA or ORMVA for your region, with compliant equipment and supporting documents. You sign, we follow up on the processing.

Frequently asked questions

Which solar pump for an 80 meter well?

At that depth you generally need a submersible pump with a solar array of several kWp; the exact power depends on the flow you want in m³ per day and the borehole diameter. An on-site measurement gets the sizing right, without overpaying.

What is the state subsidy for solar pumping?

Since February 2024, the Agricultural Development Fund covers 30% of the purchase and installation cost of solar pumping kits, for farm operators with drip irrigation who buy through an approved supplier. It can be combined with the drip irrigation aid.

Does solar pumping work on cloudy days?

Yes, at reduced flow: the pump follows the available light. That is why we size with a water storage basin rather than batteries: water stores far better than electricity.

What maintenance does a pumping system need?

Very little: regular panel cleaning and an annual check of the drive and the pump. There is no fuel, no oil change, no combustion engine to service.
