Electricity, even where the grid does not reach.

A farm in the Souss, a mountain riad, a home with no connection: an off-grid system produces by day, stores in batteries and delivers at night. In hybrid form, it also protects a grid-connected home against power cuts.

  • Sized on real usage: lighting, refrigeration, pump, comfort
  • LiFePO4 lithium or GEL batteries, depending on budget and site temperature
  • Capacity grows with you: add batteries as your needs increase
  • Backup generator can be integrated for long overcast spells

What you should know

  • Typical use · Unconnected homes, farms, remote guesthouses and riads, technical relay sites
  • Storage · GEL batteries (budget option) or LiFePO4 lithium (10 years or more of service life)
  • Autonomy · Sized on your nights and your cloudy days, not on a theoretical average
  • Hybrid · Automatic switchover during a grid outage: your essential equipment keeps running
  • Paperwork · An unconnected system only needs a simple declaration; we prepare the file

Produce, store, deliver.

Three components do all the work: the panels, the hybrid inverter and the battery bank.

The right storage at the right price

GEL still makes sense on smaller budgets; LiFePO4 lithium lasts two to three times longer and copes better with Moroccan heat. We price both options for you.

Heat is the enemy of batteries

A ventilated, shaded room clearly extends the life of the bank. Where the storage goes is part of the survey, not a detail.

Hybrid, your insurance against power cuts

Connected to the grid but fitted with batteries, a hybrid system switches over in milliseconds when the power fails. Fridge, internet and lights never even notice.

Frequently asked questions

What size system does an unconnected home need?

It all depends on usage. A small, frugal home (lights, fridge, TV, phones) runs happily on 2 to 3 kWp and 5 to 10 kWh of batteries; a villa with a pump and air conditioning needs a lot more. The survey lists your equipment item by item before pricing anything.

How much does an off-grid solar kit cost in Morocco?

Complete kits start around 25,000 to 40,000 DH for a small home (2026 market prices) and rise with storage capacity. Batteries often account for half the budget.

What happens after several cloudy days?

The system is sized with a reserve for gray days. On critical sites, a backup generator starts automatically if the batteries drop too low. It then runs a few hours a year, not every day.

How long do the batteries last?

Count on 3 to 5 years for GEL and more than 10 years for LiFePO4 lithium that is properly installed and ventilated. Replacing the bank is part of the economics we lay out in the quote.
